Café Quench is all about taste and our menu includes distinct American and Mediterranean influences, so there's something for everyone and we still stay true to our roots!  Located in a local high street, we know that it's important to be a cut above the competition (and we are! ​​😉).

We believe that to serve you well, we need to excel at everything we do.  The customer deserves quality, good service and value for money.  Enjoy a variety of menu options and we also cater from basic to the sophisticated palate through custom party catering.  We believe in cooking from fresh and the vast majority of our meals are made from scratch.  "Café" is a word that just doesn't do us justice!

We think that you deserve to eat knowing that the ingredients in your food are the best quality and want you to enjoy your dining experience with us.  You will find a wide variety of freshly cooked meals and snacks on our menu - all packed with flavour, along with a range of coffees (including speciality liqueur coffees!), soft drinks and as we are licensed, alcohol too (check out our cocktails and mocktails!).



It's always a pleasure to overhear our customers commenting to each another, how much they enjoyed their meal.  We always value word of mouth recommendations.

We believe in a friendly and professional service for our customers because we want you to feel that you matter, you are not just a number sitting at the table.  We genuinely want our customers to be happy with their meal and the service we provide.

We also cater for functions in our modern and tastefully decorated upstairs function room/coffee lounge with its own separate WC facilities and comfy lounge section, alongside the dining area.  Please enquire about Christmas parties, office team building experiences, coffee mornings, special occasion celebrations and more, to see how we can serve you.  Capacity of our function room is around 50 covers and there is no hire fee.

We have free Wi-Fi, so we have everything you need for all your meetings.  Contact us to see what we can do for you!

 

We are also a venue for evening parties (with or without catering) and we can refer you to a DJ for hire upon request.  There is also no hire fee!  Bands and performers can arrange live music evening events with us, see our facilities at www.band-me-up.com or contact us directly.  Our total capacity for events is around 82 covers, 50 upstairs and 32 downstairs.  You can book one floor or both, as required.  We can publicise events on Eventbrite, Twitter and Facebook, as well as our website.

 

We are very proud to have won a gold award in the South Regional small business catering category, in the Scoot Headline Business Awards 2014 and the PACA "At Your Service" Award for best place to eat in Hove and Portslade 2015.  We consistently receive the Trip Advisor "Certificate of Excellence" year after year.
